The Plight of Joseph Kulman
To paraphrase Peter Hall, the ‘plight of Harold Pinter’ is that ‘all other dramatists… can go off and write any type of play they please—farce or history, polemic or romance. But Harold Pinter has to write a Harold Pinter play. It must be hell.’
The plight of Joseph Kulman is that despite having had Tumblr for close to three months now, my fan-base is significantly lacking. I initially intended Joe Metro (or Culture Vulture as it was originally titled) to be a blog whereby I expressed my love of all things music (predominantly hiphop and ska), cinema and geek. However there has been little incentive to pursue this outlet, due to my followers so far totalling less than half double figures.
Maybe, as suggested by a curly haired friend, the answer lies in tagging my posts..
The other plight of Joseph Kulman is having to address characterisation in The Homecoming for Fridays coursework deadline.
